The ones that trip people up
The 13 times table lists the multiples of 13: 13, 26, 39, 52, 65, 78, 91, 104, 117, 130, 143, 156.
Split 13 into 10 + 3: 13 × 7 is 70 + 21 = 91. Then practise for a few minutes a day, asking the facts in mixed order rather than reciting them.
13 × 7 = 91. It is the same fact as 7 × 13, so learning it once covers both tables.
13 × 12 = 156. A quick way: 13 × 10 = 130, plus 13 × 2 = 26, makes 156.
The last digits of the answers repeat in a cycle: 3, 6, 9, 2, 5, 8, 1, 4, 7, 0.
It is a challenge table beyond the usual 12 × 12. Splitting 13 into 10 + 3 makes every fact manageable.
