The ones that trip people up
The 20 times table lists the multiples of 20: 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240.
Split 20 into 10 + 10: 20 × 7 is 70 + 70 = 140. Then practise for a few minutes a day, asking the facts in mixed order rather than reciting them.
20 × 7 = 140. It is the same fact as 7 × 20, so learning it once covers both tables.
20 × 12 = 240. A quick way: 20 × 10 = 200, plus 20 × 2 = 40, makes 240.
The last digits of the answers repeat in a cycle: 0.
It is a challenge table beyond the usual 12 × 12. Splitting 20 into 10 + 10 makes every fact manageable.
