The 5 times table lists the multiples of 5: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60.
Answers always end in 5 or 0. Then practise for a few minutes a day, asking the facts in mixed order rather than reciting them.
5 × 7 = 35. It is the same fact as 7 × 5, so learning it once covers both tables.
5 × 12 = 60. A quick way: 5 × 10 = 50, plus 5 × 2 = 10, makes 60.
The last digits of the answers repeat in a cycle: 5, 0.
